Subject: The question on CSD03 for today
Greetings! Svante and I had a very good call with Chet Ensign and Paul Knight last Friday on the next steps for CSD03. The TC Admin now allows for non-editorial changes to be made to drafts, after committee approval. Svante takes that to mean, and it does, that we can point to the drafts in on Github, approve them as committee specification drafts, relying upon the editors to prepare them for submission to the TC Admin. In the words of the song, perhaps, "Is it true that I'm no longer young?," my preference is for properly named files with all known edits being done before voting by the TC. However, it is the TC's choice of which way to proceed, hence the vote at Svante's suggestion on drafts for non-substantive editing prior to submission to the TC Admin. Hope everyone is at the start of a great week!
