I trust these are production matters and not something that require public
review or anything more than the simplest committee action.  Production
changes that don't impact substantive content do not seem to be a problem.  

I suppose a good test is whether or not it would appear in an erratum or a
"changes since last edition" section, along with good judgment about what is
a simple OOPS! versus something that requires a document-approval level
ballot to adopt.

Hmmm... 

You could easily run into an infinite loop here:

1) Send document out for public review
2) Receive comments on public-comment list
3) Add name of comment author to acknowledgements page
4) Because the text has now changed, need to send out for public review 
again
5) Goto step 2
