Information sharing and discussions
1. Update on the discussion with METI.
- The meeting was held on June 28th to answer various questions by METI. They asked questions such as the target of PROMCODE, possibility of extending the scope to include agile development, and reasons of long time PROMCODE work is taking. Kamimura, Yabuta-san and Yoshida-san participated in the meeting and gave explanation to each of these questions.
2. Process update of new TC Chair of PROMCODE
- There was no nomination for the new chair by the deadline. Therefore, Kamimura is the sole candidate for the new chair. The mail was sent on June 7th to express any objections to him as a new chair. TC members has been asked to express objections by June 16th if they wish.
3. Possibility of another implementation of PROMOCDE for SoU
- In addition to two implementations that currently exist, we need one more implementation to satisfy the OASIS requirement to move to the final standard. We discussed the following possibilities
- Contacting students of Nanzan University who have done implementation to some point.
- Contacting Hitachi on the status of implementation they did a number of years ago.
- Possibilities of new work at IBM and NEC for cloud based service of project management services for agile projects.
4 Latest status of the specification document and the usecase document.
- Matsumoto-san cleaned ttl files and update the specification package.
- Wakao-san will examine the usecase document to revise the part that has 'inline' representation of properties.
