Subject: RE: [regrep] REG REP is what class of Software ?
Cheers Carl, Your ontology seems usable. Its rather difficult to comment substantively without knowing whether it is a private or public ontology and what the rules and focus of the ontology is. I am not sharpshooting you . My UNSPSC and data dictionary experience tell me with some extra information its an easier call inot only of whether it works or not but also whetehr its viable in intent as wellas scope:-) Regards ________________________________ From: email@example.com [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org] Sent: Mon 2/6/2006 12:40 PM To: ebXML Regrep Subject: [regrep] REG REP is what class of Software ? For the Ontology of IT Service Management I need to declare what type of software an ebXMLRegistry is. Since the TC are the experts - please agree or disagree that the following class (> subclass) structure is correct : >IThing >>Software >>>OperatingSystem >>>>SystemRegistry >>>Application >>>>ApplicationRegistry >>>>ContentRepository >>>>>exXMLRegistry(&Repository) >>>>>WebServiceRegistry >>>>>>ebXMLRegistry Carl Mattocks Consultant : ITIL Application Knowledge Management MetLife 732 893 4170 'Always look on the bright side of life' Monty Python The information contained in this message may be CONFIDENTIAL and is for the intended addressee only.
