Subject: [glossary] summary of this week
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Good conversation this week. In summary; 1. it was proposed that we leave verbs _out_ of the Glossary 2. it was proposed that we italicize terms when used in a definition, that are defined elsewhere in the Glossary 3. a definition of payload was forwarded "Refers to the "actual data" in a packet or file minus all headers attached for transport and minus all descriptive meta-data." 4. the definition of artifact was vigorously discussed 5. it was proposed that the glossary be developed as informative, vs normative At the meeting today I will ask the committee to accept items 1 2 and 3 (1 minutes). Changes to the definition of Artifact based on this weeks email will need to be discussed (10 minutes) . A informative vs. normative discussion (4 minutes).
