"This document specifies provides an additional solution proposal for SAML 2.0 Work Item W-5a,
“Enhanced Client Profiles”. This is a LECP that uses SOAP to communicate with a SP, using a
reverse HTTP binding. This is identified as PAOS-LECP.
Thus one Enhanced Client Profile uses a client that knows how to find its IDP, but does not use
SOAP to communicate with the SP. This has been submitted as the LECP solution proposal.
This solution proposal is similar, but specifies a client that knows how to find its IDP but uses
SOAP to communicate with the SP. Since a reverse HTTP binding is used, the client does not
need to be addressable.
A third possibility is a client that knows how to find its IDP and uses SOAP for requests to the SP.
This solution may also use portions of this solution proposal as noted within"

I did not see any explanation (I might have missed something) why this was uploaded, are you proposing that SAML-TC also consider PAOS along with LECP ? I just would like some clarification

The document hirsch-paos-lecp-draft-01.pdf has been submitted by Frederick Hirsch (frederick.hirsch@nokia.com) to the OASIS Security Services TC document repository.
Document Description:
Additional solution proposal for Enhanced Client Profiles, Work Item 5a.
This adds to the previously submitted LECP solution proposal, by specifying LECP functionality using SOAP throughout, primarily with a reverse HTTP-SOAP binding between client and SP, but also applicable to a traditional SOAP client.
