The following caught my eye:

 

"SOA 2.0 is the term that we're using to talk about the combination of service-oriented architecture and event-driven architecture," said Steve Harris, vice president of Oracle Fusion middleware.

 

It seems to me that Gartner and ZapThink have been talking about the relationship between SOA and EDA for several years now, so in some ways this can be viewed as "old news".
