 From a more pragmatic standpoint, it may be easier to attract people
to GeoLang (here I am thinking about the Ethnologue folks) for example,
if they see a clearly defined bit of work that is relevant to their
concerns. Doubt the Ethnologue group would be interested in XMLVoc 
issues for instance.

I agree with Lars that I don't think it will make much difference in 
terms of workload.

I will try to put together some talking points later this weekend to 
hopefully begin a discussion of bite sized pieces of work that we can do 
in PubSubj (and the other TCs as well) so we can make some progress to 
keep us all interested in moving forward. (Even as we wait for serious 
funding that will enable larger pieces to be addressed.)

BTW, many thanks for the votes of confidence and kind words! Lots of 
work ahead but as Steve Pepper says, its too important to allow this 
opportunity to make a difference pass us by.
