This is an area that I see a merge of technologies, i.e., between 
Topic Maps and Text Mining.  The only product that I am aware of is 
from Semio (http://www.semio.com/), but there are good researches in 
this space (e.g., see 
http://www.computer.org/cise/cs1999/c4026abs.htm).
