History: degree in AI and PhD in linguistics from the University of 
Edinburgh; until 1998 lectured in psychology and philosophy at the 
University of Wales Bangor; in 1998 rediscovered Linux and semantic 
markup; have followed developments in topic maps since early 2000.

Interests: formal logics; post-relational databases; (semi)-automatic 
knowledge representation/management/discovery.
