Christoph Schmidt

Co-founder and CTO of moresophy GmbH, a Germany based company founded
February 2001.

We are offering products and services for semantic knowledge management
solutions. By the end of the year we will release a professional visual 
ontology
development environment. It will support the XTM topic map standard as well
as other XML based knowledge representation standards like
RDF/S and DAML/OIL.

We regard topic maps as a powerful and advanced meta model for the purpose
of knowledge representation and have particular interest in the ongoing
standardization efforts for a query and constraint language for
topic maps (TMQL and TMCL). We had made some contributions concerning these
issues.

In the past few weeks I was unable to actively participate in the group
because of heavy workload, but hope to be able to contribute more in the 
future.

Together with Heiko Beier, co-founder of moresophy, I am responsible for the
specification of our topic map tools.
