[topicmaps-comment] Mapping Topics to Cyc: Progress

I can now import a topic map and instantiate the topic type hierarchy in
Cyc. Now it's just a matter of typing to fill in the rest.

One thing I started wondering about this morning on the way into the
office: what would it take to develop a Cyc application that could do
merge discovery--that is, attempt to determine that topics that are not
explicitly mapped to Cyc constants are or are not likely instances of
those subjects. I'm thinking it should be possible, but I have too
little experience with Cyc to have any idea how to go about it at the
moment.
