Subject: RE: [tosca] Groups - tosca-deployment-flavor-concept.pptx uploaded
I support the idea of a si gle common solution for a set of DFs based on Simple YAML extensions. Still the question remains if we should consider an additonal desirable goal where all DFs can be described in a single service template. Or ... why not have such a goal?

Michael, et al…
This is work in progress. The document was uploaded to facilitate a conversation/review of the desired end-goals. Once we have agreement, we need to have a joint discussion with the Simple YAML Profile working group regarding how to accomplish this.
We need to be intentional about this this, as it could potentially result in a further split of the TOSCA standard from the profile perspective…
Cheers,
Alex

Did you guys take into consideration in the discussion the request from ETSI NFV to work towards a solution that allows all DFs in a single service template (including the VNFD + all DFs)? Is there consensus that this is not possible, all solutions exhausted?
Th When reviewing t either he ppt uploaded by Alex, it seems like this ETSI NFV wish is either not a desired outcome or was not included due to lack of a solution - and I am trying to understand which one was the cause.
Thanks,
Michael
