You're right that an OASIS member wouldn't /need/ to look at it from 
anywhere
else than as an OASIS member (although I certainly could see /wanting/ 
to avoid
the rigamarole of going through all the Kavi UI pages to get the info I 
want if I
could just do it in one) but this is not the case that I"m describing as 
the problem.

The case that is the problem is if an OASIS /non-member/ wants to look at
the calendar /as an OASIS non-member/ (which, really, is the only choice
they have, isn't it?)  As far as I can tell, an OASIS non-member cannot
see our SC calendar items in the TC calendar.  In general, have you recently
tried to view the UBL web site as a non-member?  Of other OASIS pages?
It's very sparse.  Don't we went people that are not members yet of UBL to
even know what's going on with this work?  My thought is in preserving th
 'open-ness' of 'open' standards.  Sometimes I'd like to be able to promote
our work by telling people who have not heard of it before to check out this
or that discussion.  Can't do it in a lot of cases now.  Many of the 
documents
referenced in our emails require a password.  Much of the data we put 
and see
on our internal pages is not actually viewable externally by a non-member.
