Ah, that was not clear.

Yes, but whether publishing meeting times and phone numbers, including
access codes, is something that we really want is certainly arguable.

Recently, for instance, Karl opened the comments form for the DocBook
TC, where anybody can post unmoderated comments, and the first thing
received by that TC was spam.

There is a fine balance between "openness" and being able to work in
peace.

The openness of open standards derives from opening the development of
standards to anybody who wants to *join* a particular project, not from
opening yourself to spamming robots. There is quite a lot of openness
in opening one's archives to the world. But there must be a limit, I
think.

Well, bugs in the software should not be confused with policy ;)
I think a lot of these problems will be solved once the Document
Management part of Kavi is replaced with something else. Work on this,
I understand, is in progress.
