Hello Stephen,

if you take a look at the structure of bigger companies, you will notice, that often the buyer is not the invoicee.

Imagine following scenario:

A large company has a department manufacturing mobiles in Hamburg, another manufacturing PDAs in Munich and the accounting department is located in Berlin. Now if the PDA department orders circuit boards, it is the buyer with its own customer ID, but the invoice has to be sent to the accounting department with a different customer ID at the other location. I think this is not a special case at all.
