Thanks for replying and sorry for the delay.
 
Yes we have considered using extension to the codelists. We did not find codelists for some physical attributes, like colors, sizes, textures, etc, for example.
 
On the other hand, in numeral 1. I was expecting to have an extension example: not the one of a codelist, but one indicating the inclusion of some structured information that does not fit elsewhere in the document. Thanks for showing me the actual place where the ExpiryDate should be placed. I already managed to make an extension (the first record in the doc) and to have it validated by XMLSpy and the val tools in the UBL kit.
