Subject: [TC-Admin] UOML-X TC JIRA Project available

UOML-X members,

As requested, a JIRA Issues Tracking Project has been created for the Unstructured Operation Markup Language eXtended (UOML-X) TC.

http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/UOMLX
Project Lead: Peter Junge
Editor: Peter Junge

All TC Members should now have write access to JIRA using their Kavi login name and password, and all others (including the public), read access.

Please note that the terms used to describe roles in TCs in the Kavi system (for example, Chair or Secretary) do not mean the same thing as the roles in JIRA. In particular, Kavi has no "Editor" role while in JIRA the TC Editor role exists and has considerable power over the disposition of JIRA tickets. The Chair roles exists in both platforms but in JIRA a "TC Chair" has full administrative power over the project and can make significant low level changes to the project and tickets. Thus, because the roles are a highly technical, clerical ones, we recommend that consideration be given to assigning the JIRA roles "TC Editor" and possibly "TC Chair" to the members expected to be most heavily involved at the technical level with creation of JIRA components and the conventions for status/resolution codes.

The OASIS rules governing the use of JIRA (as well as for Wikis, SVN, TC document repository) are presented here:

Please request assistance from the Project Lead and any TC officers if you need help, but feel free also to contact me if you have questions that cannot be answered elsewhere, e.g., online:

Best regards,
