The latest recommendations from the WSD Patterns Task Force are at http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/~checkout~/2002/ws/desc/wsdl12/meps-vs-iops/recommendations_clean.htm . I don't think this work has been finalized by the WSD group yet.
