Issue: 156
Status:
Tentative_Resolve
Topic: interface
Class: Minor_Technical
Raised by:

Title: UserContext in getServiceDescription
clarification
Date Added: 24-Nov-2002
Document Section:
5-Dec-2002
Description:
Currently, the specification says that the
Consumer can't assert a role that isn't described in
getServiceDescription. Might we want to loosen this a little to allow the
Consumer to assert any other standard roles regardless of whether they have been
described in getServiceDecription? One benefit of this is that when an
administrator "registers" a provider the initial getServiceDescription can carry
the "administrator" role thus avoiding a second round trip.
Resolution:
Remove UserContext from getServiceDescription
