If the parameters ever did become an expression, however, I would want it to be clear in any policy that this change happened. I like the fact that you can't look at an XACML 2.0 Condition and mistake it for a 1.0/1.1 Condition. It's not something subtle we slid in, but an obvious change. Building in something that causes a noticable (though easy) change later is not always a bad thing, especially when the change refelects a new behvior. seth
