Hi, Thanks for clarifying. Hyphenation is done by the FO processor and is dependent on the locale. The Apache site has information about configuring FOP for hyphenation: http://xmlgraphics.apache.org/fop/0.94/hyphenation.html Regarding adding color to text in PDF, the FO property named "color" can do that. It requires using an attribute-set if one is available for the intended text, or a template customization. Maybe you could describe what you are trying to color.
