Through the http:version application-property already defined in the draft.

I also suggested that during the F2F while removing the prefix was being discussed, though I forget the precise discussion around it.

Presumably for this to work, the http:version application property would need to be made mandatory rather than optional.

I don't hold strong views on the argument (which, as mentioned, seems to be retreading the discussions we had at the F2F).Â I agree the current proposal is "ugly", but I'm not sure how large a barrier this would be to implementation, utility, or correctness.
