I'm not sure if anything is gained, unless there is a constituency who 
needs to have their standard be an ISO standard.  I think this used to be 
the case for some DoD programs.  Don't know now.

On the downside ... it would take some resources to do the processing 
(steer it through the ISO procedures).  We would need a volunteer who has 
time to do it (I'm maxed out on my CGM Open time now, and not getting done 
all the things that I should).

Anyone else have an opinion on this?
