But against which you'll fight tooth and nail on the TC Jirka?

I'm curious why you are so anti? 
with the fallback ideas in place I'm finding html5 has benefits
and v.few negatives. 

Would you argue against all its features:
A11y
structure
navigation
media
easier mathml, svg
microdata
Far easier image scaling.

I guess you would, listening to your .. recent statements.

Equally, I'm curious to know how far back in the browser chain you'd
like to go with docbook support? Netscape?
