TC ANNOUNCEMENTS
----------------

The OASIS LegalXML Electronic Court Filing Technical Committee has been
formed. The Electronic Court Filing TC will develop specifications for
the use of XML to create legal documents and to transmit legal
documents.

The OASIS Controlled Trade Markup Language Technical Committee has been
formed. The Controlled Trade TC will develop a unified trade control
vocabulary that supports an international collection of business
documents (e.g., trade applications, cases, licenses, delivery
verification certificates, etc.)
through the extension and expansion of an existing XML vocabulary.

Two new OASIS discussion lists have been created to discuss the creation
of OASIS Technical Committees in the LegalXML member section; eNotary
and Legislative.

A new OASIS discussion list has been created to discuss the creation of
an OASIS Technical Committee. This discussion list will be formed to
establish consensus on the creation of a Management Services Technical
Committee.

The OASIS Election and Voter Services TC has approved EML (Election
Markup Language) Version 1 as a Committee Specification.

Interoperability Summit Call For Papers closes soon. The second
Interoperability Summit will be held 27-28 June 2002
(Thursday and Friday) at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
