Subject: RE: [oic] RE: deliverable "state of interoperability"
One specific weakness of replacing the content of the document is that, with a proportionate font, different text, even when having the exact same number of characters, may result in a different line length than the original, potentially changing the layout of the entire document. But we could observe that a document that depends on the specific location of soft line breaks is not going to be interoperable in general, even between different versions of the same word processor. -Rob Stephen Peront <stepper@microsoft.com> wrote on 01/20/2009 07:09:04 PM: > [image removed] > > RE: [oic] RE: deliverable "state of interoperability" > > Stephen Peront > > to: > > robert_weir@us.ibm.com, oic@lists.oasis-open.org > > 01/20/2009 07:12 PM > > Yes, this is the ideal way to source sample documents.
