One specific weakness of replacing the content of the document is that, 
with a proportionate font, different text, even when having the exact same 
number of characters, may result in a different line length than the 
original, potentially changing the layout of the entire document.

But we could observe that a document that depends on the specific location 
of soft line breaks is not going to be interoperable in general, even 
between different versions of the same word processor.
