Folks,

I am not in favour of changing the regular
Tuesday slot.  There is work to do on 1.1 and that is the slot to
do it...

However, if the Wednesday slot is not
good for a number of folk who want to take part in the Event Processing
discussions, can
we find a more appropriate time slot
for those discussions?

Possibilities that occur to me:

1) 1 hour on every other Tuesday either
before or after the regular Tuesday call.

2) 30 minutes every Tuesday either before
or after the regular Tuesday call.

3) Fridays at 08:00 Pacific (yes, I
can hear the screams already....) - 1 hour every other week.

Apologies for opening this topic up again, but for a reasonable
number of us in the committee who are interesting in the eventing discussion,
the Wednesday time slot is either difficult or impossible.  I'd like
to propose that we swap the content of the 2 halves of the double meetings. 
The Tuesday slot every other week would be used for eventing, and the Wednesday
slot would then be used for everything else.  

The resulting schedule would be:
Week A
Tuesday 8am PT   Non-Eventing Assembly Business
  
Week B
Tuesday 8am PT Eventing 
Wednesday 9am PT Non-Eventing Assembly Business

If for whatever reason, that isn't palatable, a compromise would be to
do this every other (bi-weekly) Wednesday call.  I would find this
somewhat confusing, but could at least attend an eventing discussion once
every 4 weeks.

Week A
Tuesday 8am PT   Non-Eventing Assembly Business
  
Week B
Tuesday 8am PT Eventing 
Wednesday 9am PT Non-Eventing Assembly Business

Week C
Tuesday 8am PT   Non-Eventing Assembly Business
  
Week D
Tuesday 8am PT Non-Eventing Assembly Business
Wednesday 9am PT Eventing 

As those of us who are unable to attend Wednesdays won't be in attendance
tomorrow, it may make more sense to either discuss this proposal in email,
or at a Tuesday call.
