So the singular Action is what is described in the Action Model but the use of that Action is a Joint Action because it requires both someone whose intent it is to have the RWE occur and the service to initiate whatever activity is necessary to make the RWE occur.  That I can buy.

I'm less enamored with the term Communicative Action and I think is causing us heartburn.  I can see how a consumer's request to initiate a permissible service action would be embodied in the message that gets communicated via interaction (or communication or message exchange or whatever we call it).  It's the word "action" appended to "communication" that seems to be giving us some pain.
