Sam is absolutely right. There is no point to make a priority in
"understanding the issues" rather than meeting the deadlines. If we would do
otherwise, we would end up with something that all of would be happy with --
several years from now -- and that would be considered of interest by no one
outside of our small group. Daniel, you need to come back to reality. We are
building an industry here, and we need to adjust to those rules. This has
nothing to do with an academic exercise, and since we are assembling
contributions from several people, you need to understand that there is no
way that one contribution can be entirely preserved as such in the final
document. And respecting the deadlines is the most important guideline for
ensuring success to our initiative.
