Subject: Fw: WS-A version change details (i028)
A detail of #1 below: Where we have schema imports of the WS-A schema, we need to change these to: <xsd:import namespace="http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing" schemaLocation="http://www.w3.org/2006/03/addressing/ws-addr.xsd"/> Regards, Ian Robinson ----- Forwarded by Ian Robinson/UK/IBM on 07/04/2006 10:55 ----- Ian Robinson/UK/IBM To 04/04/2006 22:35 wstx cc Subject WS-A version change details (i028) One of the AIs from the last F2F was to specify the spec changes required to step up to the W3C WS-A (issue i028). In general, the changes in the 3 specs are: 1. Change all instances of the old WS-A namespace from http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/addressing to http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing. 2. Changes all references to WS-Addressing to "WS-Addressing 1.0" and hyperlink to the RDDL at http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing. 3. Change all instances of "reference properties" to "reference parameters" and "ReferenceProperties" to "ReferenceParameters" 4. Any code snippets that show reference parameters in a SOAP header need to include an attribute "wsa:IsReferenceParameter='true'" #1 above also applies to the 3 WSDLs and the WS-C schema document. I don't believe issue i028 itself requires any changes to the various "Use of WS-Addressing Headers" sections in the specs. Issue i030 is considering a specific issue around the use of wsa:ReplyTo; this can be treated as orthogonal to i028. I believe this is all that is required to address issue i028.
