Program

The Symposium's Call for Presentations closed on 9 Feb. Members of the OASIS
TAB were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of presentations submitted
and are now dealing with the very difficult task of selection. Thanks to all
who contributed abstracts. Look for Program details soon.

Keynotes

Two very exciting keynotes will be featured at the Symposium.

On Monday, a major user perspective will be offered by William Stangel, Sr.
VP and Enterprise Architect for Fidelity Investments Systems Company, part
of the largest mutual fund company in the United States, the No. 1 provider
of workplace retirement savings plans, and a leading online brokerage firm.

On Tuesday, Thomas Koulopoulos, president and co-founder of the Delphi Group
technology management and advisory firm, will speak on 'Standards and the
Business of Uncertainty.' Tom will lay out the tenets of technological and
practical survival in the new world of uncertainty and investigate how
standards provide the foundation for agility and change.

Three other TCs are on a waiting list.*

*OASIS is unable to secure additional meeting rooms until we fill and expand
our current sleeping room block at the hotel. Reserving your room at the
Marriot will make it possible for all interested TCs to meet in New Orleans.

Registration
Registration is required for both the Symposium and OASIS TC meetings. For
the Symposium only, a meeting fee of 465 USD (265 USD for OASIS members)
will be charged to cover the cost of facilities and meals.

Hotel Reservations

Thanks to all who have already made hotel reservations with the Marriott.
Early registration is a tremendous help in planning the event and enabling
OASIS staff to secure meeting space for TCs. We urge everyone to make plans
