IEEE Standard Upper Ontology

All,

Just in case you are not aware of it: there is an effort (and a
distribution list) to try to develop a standard upper ontology (or
ontologies, interlinked perhaps in a "lattice of theories" formalism)
at: http://suo.ieee.org/.

You must forgive me, but I am not quite sure of the goals of this group
(I just joined): perhaps though they overlap partially with SUO?
