Subject: Re: [xtm-wg] A challenge on "the graph"
Attached to this note is a Zip file that contains the output of the meeting in Paris at which we defined the "abstract model" (conceptual model) for 13250. Unzip it to create a little Web site that binds the graphics to the documentation. If anybody wants the original ObjectDomain source files, I can provide those as well. You can download a free eval version of ObjectDomain which allows you to view any model and can create models of up to 30 types (which is actually sufficient to model topic maps given an appropriate package organization and some tricks with shared packages). There are also some open-source UML modeling tool projects but I haven't evaluated any of them to know if they're actually useful. There's also decent UML support in Visio 5 and Rational Rose is built into MS Dev Studio. Cheers, E. -- . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . W.
